A women named Shikha Monga from Chandigarh use to buy lots
of coke's and spended huge amount's of money when she was in her teens. As the
coke company announced that the winner of the Kahona Pyar Hai promotional contest will go on
a dinner date with the Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan in the year 2000.
The company never kept their promise and instead offered her
Rs.5 lakhs as they were unable to arrange a dinner date with Hrithik. Later she
realized that she was chated by the company and files a case on Coca-Cola
company in the year 2003,claiming Rs.2.5 crore as damage charges for causing
her insult in the society.
After 12 long years the court filed a notice to Coca-cola
company. The court also exempted Shikha for paying Rs.2.43 lakhs as court fee
saying that "the applicant is not possessed of sufficient means to pay the
court fee and she is indigent". Shikha stated that she is embarresed by
her friends and relatives as they kept on asking about her dinner date and she
was made as a liar infront of every one.
